ACNE FIGHTING FOODS

 A few antioxidants and omega 3 rich foods that may help improve an acne prone skin are as follows:


ALMONDS:
Almonds added to the diet have a favorable effect on blood cholesterol levels

WATERMELON:

 The unsaturated fatty acids in watermelon seeds keep the skin moisturized, soft, firm, well-toned and prevent acne and other skin disorders.

GREEN TEA:
  Green tea has a number of properties that help you achieve that glowing skin; and these benefits can be derived from consuming as well as applying green tea externally

ORANGE:
Anti oxidants present in orange fights free radicalsand thus preventing aging faster

CARROT:
Carrots are great for your skin, thanks to the abundant amounts of Vitamin A and other antioxidants which protect against various skin problems and help in maintaining skin health

SPINACH:
Green leafy vegetables are great for skin and spinach is no exception.  Loaded with most useful vitamins like Vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin K as well as vital minerals, this vegetable plays an important role in skincare

FIG:
This juice has good healing properties and can heal skin sores and warts. Applying the juice of mashed fresh figs on your face for 10 to 15 minutes is useful in treating acne and pimples.
WHOLE GRAINS:
According to Read Age, the acne may be linked to hormones. They suggest a diet that lowers the glycemic load, which helps to reduce the body's sensitivity to insulin.
